Carson has lived in North Carolina for most of his life. His love for theatre began when he was very little, having watched the VHS tapes of Cats & Joseph...Dreamcoat on a daily basis. Growing up, he was surrounded by an athletic family, with a father who properly educated him on the Classic Rock legends. His family made a tremendous impact on him, from introducing him to his favorite song "Bohemian Rhapsody" to igniting his light to play tennis. So, in his free time as kid, Carson began to collect CDs of Broadway Cast Albums and scroll aimlessly on Wikipedia to learn about Musical Theatre History. He drew inspiration from Fred Astaire, Dick Van Dyke, Frank Sinatra, Bob Fosse, Gene Kelly, and Jerome Robbins.

Carson is a proud graduate from Texas State University with his BFA in Musical Theatre. Since the age of 5 (his first onstage performance), his love for theatre has continued to grow and manifest in every project he is a part of, whether he is performing, choreographing, or directing.

 

His other passions include boating & water activities, as well as fostering puppies & volunteering at dog rescues. When he's not in rehearsals, Carson can be seen listening to his collection of vinyl records, playing the daily NYT Games, hanging out with his friends, or convincing people to play Clue with him.
